We are a key provider of Youth Support Services in Swansea, last year we helped over 5,000 young people, 14-25 year olds.
Our support work focuses on 5 key areas; Support & Advice, Family Work, Health & Wellbeing, Training & Education, Accommodation
Whether you are just looking for someone to talk to in a safe, friendly environment, or already have a clear idea of the skills you want to develop and activities you want to experience, our door is always open, come in and see us or get in touch.
Our youth team are young, friendly and very approachable. Whatever you get involved in, we guarantee it will be 100% POSITIVE and if they’ve got anything to do with it 100% FUN!
The following are some of the ways we could help you belong, contribute and thrive;
–Our Drop-in Service operates 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday at YMCA Swansea
–We work with young people, making sure their rights are respected and their voices are heard. We can support you to get help if you have queries over your legal position or entitlement. Advocacy is a key part of our day to day work, ensuring young people are connected to the right support network to help navigate any issues that arise.
–Need support with CV writing, educational development or job searching?
–We can offer you Agored Cymru Accreditations in a range of subjects.
-We can help you pin-point the right training and course providers and assist with funding applications.
–Volunteering – ever thought of volunteering locally or overseas?
–Events – young volunteers and participants often attend interesting events representing young people nationally and organize their own events – would you like to get involved?
–Music – our Arts Team loves nothing better than unleashing raw talent in the Recording Studio. Fancy learning an instrument, warming up your vocals or getting down to the nitty gritty of music production? Anything is possible.
–We are especially keen on getting everyone to improve their Health and Wellbeing, our Fitness Centre plays a key role in this.
